NUYA Designs by Heather Williams (Vancouver designer) Puts Compassion in Fashion with Cool VS Cruel

Heather Ruby Lee moved to Vancouver in June 2008, at the age of 17 to pursue a career in fashion. Her first step was attending the Art Institute of Vancouver for fashion design. Second, was to indulge herself in her loves of drawing and sewing. Then within a year NUYA Designs was born! Nuya comes from one of Heather’s names: Nuyayoots, which means sweet sounding voice.
